Name
The name “RM Group” is born from an amalgamation of two diverse cultures – a coming together of the East and the West. In Sanskrit the word Rakesh means “the Moon” and M comes from Malik, which means “to establish”. Together they represent stability and a strong foundation. In French, Rakesh means “to advance”; this signifies forward movement and growth. The syllable Malik also imbibes the Thapar legacy. The name “RM Group”, therefore, represents the strong foundation that the Group provides to the individual companies for advancement, growth and diversification.
